2004 Dual meet against Highline and Mt. Ranier
By brett
The boys varsity team suffered a tough loss against Highline, 25-30. Sam Ahlbeck set a course record of 16:28 on the tough, hilly course but his first place finish wasn’t enough as Highline packed in the next three runners.
The girls varsity ran well and came really close to beating Highline, 27-29. The Highline girls are a tough team and the girls ran well. The league meet scoring system might work in the girls favor come the King Division championship meet. The girls went 1-2-3 on Mt. Ranier for the automatic win.
The JV boys extended their 2+ year winning streak by beating Highline (28-29) and Mt. Ranier. Strong races by Aaron Challenner and Erik Fisher played a huge role in this win.
