Lindbergh Cross Country

Saturday, Nov. 14th we are going to work at Larry Johnson's house in Skykomish, primarily putting up Christmas decorations as a fundraiser.  We will meet at Lindbergh at 9:00 a.m.  The drive is about 1.5 hours.  We will work until around 4:00.  We will have pizza for lunch.  Bring a swimsuit if you want to hot tub before we head back to school.  We should be back at Lindbergh around 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, September 30th, the Lindbergh Cross Country team will be doing a run-a-thon to raise money for an overnight trip to Bellingham to compete in the Mt. Baker Invitational cross country meet. In the run-a-thon, team members will run for one hour around the Lake Youngs reservoir, and they will keep track of how far they run in one hour. We are asking people to sponsor our runners either by paying per mile or by paying a flat fee. We will accept cash or checks. Please make checks payable to Lindbergh High School.

The money is due Thursday, October 2nd.

Here are the step-by-step directions for how to submit a report on Angie’s List and earn the Lindbergh Cross Country team money.  Remember, the deadline for our fundraiser is Sunday, September 25th.  The more reports are filled out, the more money we make, so try to get as many people as you can to fill out a report.

In an effort to raise money for the cross country team I am selling a pair of tickets to the Husky football game on September 18th vs. UCLA. The face value is $36 each and all proceeds will go directly to the team towards our goal of raising $300.
