Brett Johnson


Brett Johnson was both a runner and coach of Lindbergh cross country. He was a Lindbergh captain in 1998. He was on two Seamount league championship teams, earned all-league honors from his Sophomore through Senior years. His 16:27 at the state meet in 1998, was one of Lindbergh’s top state finishes. Brett went on to run at Central Washington University and Bellevue Community College. While at Bellevue Community College, he was their #1 runner while only training with the Lindbergh runners three days a week. Brett was also a league champion in the 800m and 4x400m track events. His PRs were 400m: 52.6, 800m: 1:57.6, mile: 4:29, 2-mile: 9:58, 5k: 16:23, 8k: 27:24, 10k: 35:29

Brett was an assistant cross country coach for Lindbergh for the 2000-2004 seasons. In 2005, Brett moved to San Jose, California to take a job at IBM. Brett continues running in relays such as the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey, The Relay, Madison-to-Chicago, and other long races with his IBM running team.
