Lindbergh Cross Country

This Saturday, Nov. 7th is the state cross country meet at the Sun Willows golf course in Pasco.  We will be staying at the Kennewick Super 8 hotel Friday night.  My phone # is 206 245-4101 if you need to reach me during the weekend.

The following times are estimates, but we will stay pretty close to these times.

 

Make sure you bring plenty of extra clothes.

 

You will have some food money provided, but you will need some additional money to supplement your allowance.

 

The hotel is paid for by the school.

 

Friday

 

8:00    Meet at Lindbergh

11:30  lunch at Quiznos in Kennewick

12:15 check into hotel

2:00    leave to run the course

3:30    back at the hotel

5:30    leave for dinner (Casa Mia in Kennewick)

7:30    stop at the grocery store on the way back from dinner

8:00    back at hotel

10:00  in your own room

11:00 lights out

 

Saturday

 

7:30    wake-up

8:00    Breakfast in the hotel

8:45    Go for a walk to secret destination

10:15  leave hotel (girls—snack and drink water)

10:30  drop-off girls, alternates, and two coaches at the course—set up team area

10:40  boys go to subway

11:30  girls warm up, boys return to course

12:30  girls race

1:00    boys warm-up

1:20    girls awards

2:00    boys race

2:50    boys awards

3:30    leave Pasco

4:45    dinner at Miner’s in Yakima

6:00    leave Yakima

8:30    arrive back at Lindbergh
