Lindbergh Cross Country

With so many people running outstanding races at the Bellevue Invitational, it was extremely difficult to choose just one Runner of the Week.  After a great deal of agonizing over the decision, I finally decided to award it to our fast little freshman Matt.

Matt ran a very intelligent race, which was especially impressive given that this was his first big invitational experience.  We got out in the tail end of the lead pack early in the race–about 15th place at the mile mark.  He kept picking people off all race and finished in 4th in his flight.  He ran remarkably even splits.  For his intelligence and tenacity in the race, Matt earns Runner of the Week.
