The Track Season is Underway!
We are now starting our third week of track season. Besides having to experience some crazy weather (last Friday it rained, then hailed, then snowed. If that wasn’t crazing enough for a March day in Seattle, while the snow was still falling a lightening storm attacked us), things are going well.
Our first meet–a jamboree–is this Friday at Renton Stadium.
Our captains issued the first Captain’s Choice Award to a team member who exhibited an unusual amount of team spirit, a great attitude, and a strong work ethic. They chose Nick Davis. Congratulations Nick.
My plan is to post results, pictures, and highlites of the track season over the coming months. We have never used the cross country site for track purposes before, so this will be a new feature.
