Beat the Heat

With practice starting on August 21st we will running in the heat of the day here are some tips to stay Hydrated.

Remember to drink water throughout the day, a glass in the morning after you wake up is key to a good day. keep a water bottle with you when you are out of the house. "obey your thirst" if your thirsty get something to drink if your not thirst don't worry.

  Water is the best thing you can drink before practice. Gatorade/Powerade is Not the best before practice. It is designed to Rehydrate after a workout, drink water before and Gatorade/Powerade after. Stay away from soda pop if at all possible, it is not a runners friend. 

remember something is better than nothing at all.
