Lindbergh Cross Country

The first day of cross country practice is August 21st.  In order to practice and compete with the team you must first get CLEARED.  This process involves the following:  1)  Getting a physical and having your doctor and your parents sign your physical form, 2)  Paying your sports participation fee, and 3)  Purchasing an A.S.B. card. 

All of these items can be accomplished begining Tuesday, August 15th.  I want everyone cleared by the first day of practice, so plan now to get cleared!

 1.  The Physical:  You can either have your own doctor give you a physical or you can come to the school on Tuesday, August 15th and get your physical from Dr. Pettett for only $15.  If you choose to go to your own doctor, try to bring with you the physical form with the Blue Card for your doctor to sign.  I can give you the form.  If for some reason you don't have the form, just bring some paperwork with you from your doctor with his signature verifying that you have had a physical.

To get your physical at school, here is what you need to do:

–Tuesday, Aug. 15th

–They recommend that you come at the appointed time, although they will see you regardless:  Seniors 5:00 – 5:45 p.m., Juniors 5:45 – 6:30 p.m., Sophomores 6:30 – 7:15 p.m., Freshman 7:15 – 8:00 p.m.

–wear shorts

–Bring $15 (Cash only).  All of this money is donated by Dr. Pettett to Lindbergh A.S.B. to support our athletic programs.

–Try to get your physical form signed by your parents ahead of time.  If you don't, you will have to turn it in later.

2.  Paying your sports participation fee and buying your ASB cards can be done August 16th, 17th, or 18th from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. or 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.  in the main office.  The ASB card costs $25 and the Sports Participation Fee costs $50.  You can pay for this with a check or with cash.  If you qualify for fee or reduced lunch you do not have to pay (you just have to tell Ms. Koch in the main office).  If money is a problem for you, tell me and I will find a way to help you.

The office will not do any athletic clearances on the first day of practice, so this must be done ahead of time.  They will then start clearing people again in Tuesday, August 22nd.
