Lindbergh Cross Country

This Saturday, Sept. 30th,  we run in the Mt. Baker Invitational at Silver Lake, which is north of Bellingham.  The team will leave Friday after school and stay the night in Bellingham.

Mt. Baker Invite Info. Fri:

2:30     Leave Lindbergh in Vans

4:30     Check into hotel

5:30     Run at Lake Padden

6:30     Back at hotel, change, go to dinner

9:00 – 11:00     Hang out in the hotel, play Fight Night, lights out

 Saturday

7:30     Wake-up, eat breakfast at hotel

8:30     Leave hotel (everything must be packed up)

9:30     Arrive at course

11:00    Freshmen boys

11:45     JV Girls

12:30    JV Boys

1:15      Varsity Girls

2:00     Varsity Boys

2:45     Open race       

3:30    Awards

4:00     Leave course

4:30     Stop for fast food

5:15     Leave Bellingham

7:15     Back at Lindbergh

 Directions to the Meet at Silver Lake: 

I5 North to Bellingham

East on Mt. Baker Highway (highway 542)

            –drive 25 miles to Maple Falls

Turn left onto Silver Lake Road

            –there is a Shell station at the intersection

Drive 3.5 miles to the park.

            –signs will direct you where to park

 

Money

 

We did a fundraiser to pay for the hotel and the gas.  However, athletes are responsible for paying for their food on the trip.  The will need money for dinner friday night and breakfast and lunch Saturday.  It would be a good idea to bring healthy snack food and water for during the day Saturday.
