The First Meet of the Season: Tahoma Coed Relays

This Saturday, Sept. 6th is the Tahoma Coed Relay race.

The Tahoma Coed Relay race is a fun way to start the season. The course is about a mile and a half and runs through the park and on single-track trails. It even goes through the lake for about 100 yards. Team members will either run in the Open Race or in the Relay race. Relay teams consist of three boys and two girls. Since we have more boys than girls on the team, some of the boys will be entered in the Open Race.

The meet takes place at Lake Wilderness State Park in Maple Valley (22500 SE 248th Street, Maple Valley, WA 98038).

Team members need to be at school by 6:45 ready to get on the bus.

The Open Race starts at 8:30 and the Relay Race starts at 9:15. The Awards Ceremony will take place at about 10:45. If possible, please bring some kind of a snack or beverage (fruit, granola bars, cookies, water, etc.) to share so that we can hang out together and have a snack potluck. We should be back at the school by noonish.
