2004 League Meet Results

The varsity girls started off the league meet with a strong performance to place 3rd overall, overcoming Highline who had beat them earlier in the season. Madeline Platt placed 9th overall to take "All league" honors with a time of 21:55. Christina Patti also had a big race improving her personal best by over 30 seconds with a time of 23:57 and placing 22nd overall.
Hazen 33, Renton 54, Lindbergh 77, Highline 84, Mt. Ranier 97, Kennedy 142

The varsity boys had a solid race and I believe have a sense of restored confidence that will lead them to qualifying for yet another state meet next weekend. The boys were led by Sam Ahlbeck who won is second straight league title with a time of 16:19. There were strong races all around including an exceptional race by James Turnbull in his first varsity race ever. Turnbull ran 17:59 and placed 5th on the team and 24th overall in the varsity race. Not too shabby for a first varsity race. Tor Ferguson had a strong race and is ready for the fast district course.
Hazen 52, Highline 63, Lindbergh 79, Renton 81, Kennedy 117, Tyee 136, Mt. Ranier 144

In the JV race, Chris Miland led the way to Lindbergh’s 3rd straight JV team title. The JV boys all ran solid races to beat Hazen who had previously beat them in the dual meet. Billy Doyle was the #2 runner for the JV team placing 5th overall. Ryan Kellberg and David Rice came across in 8th and 9th. Eddie Ramsey was the key runner of the day and placed 13th. The JV boys won with 36 points to beat out Hazen (40 points). Every place counted for our top 5 runners and they all performed exceptionally well.
